Donna Scott
Architectural Illustrator

With over 25 years of experience, Donna is an accomplished freelance architectural illustrator and Fellow of the Society of Architectural Illustrators (SAI), dedicated to bringing architectural concepts, visions and designs to life through detailed hand-drawn and watercolour artist’s impressions.

She collaborates with a diverse range of clients, from architects and developers to historians and private home owners, on projects spanning residential, commercial, industrial and heritage sectors.

Donna works in a variety of styles and media, from loose, expressive concept pencil sketches to meticulously rendered watercolour presentation perspectives, ensuring the essence of each project is captured with accuracy, artistry and exceptional attention to detail.

Her illustrations not only serve to communicate projects in a visually engaging and accessible way, they play a pivotal role in securing planning permissions, winning tenders and promoting designs. They are also independent works of art in their own right.

“With precise attention to detail, Donna translates complex designs or concept ideas into architectural perspectives and aerial views that are accurate, understandable and sympathetic representations of their subjects. Technical combinations of computer modelling, sketching, watercolour and pen & ink are used harmoniously to express Donna’s passion for rural, historic and conservation projects, where an emphasis on materials, landscapes and the environment are paramount.”
